I know you guys get hung up on the DC continuity thing and I get why but I’m kind of OK with it. DC has never just gone and rebooted their stuff. Every time they do it, they’ve done it in-universe. They haven’t always had a great in-universe explanation but they’ve never just done it.
So for me, I look at it more like back to the Future’s timelines: http://images.wikia.com/bttf/images/e/ea/Bttf.png
They might modify their presentation to reflect the in universe changes but the DC Universe now is really still the same universe that it was in the beginning… just repeatedly undone and rebuilt by various temporal and multi-universe events over the years.
